Boost Pipe BMW N55 135i/335i, E82/E88/E90/E91/E92/E93, 13717599293

The boost pipe is the connecting pipe between the intercooler and the turbocharger. This aluminum intake pipe increases the airflow from the turbocharger to the intercooler. It replaces the factory-installed plastic pipe. In vehicles with increased performance, the higher boost pressure can cause the original pipe to burst. In the worst-case scenario, this defect can lead to engine damage due to ingested fragments.

This boost pipe has a larger diameter than the original. It reduces air turbulence and simultaneously increases airflow. This results in faster turbocharger response and higher maximum power output. The engine control unit (ECU) software does not need to be recalibrated. Even at very high boost pressures, there is no risk of bursting. Installation is relatively simple, as this intake pipe is a plug-and-play replacement for the stock part.
