Stilo Verbacom Clubman communication system (1 driver, 1 mechanic)
Stilo Verbacom's advanced communication system based on telephone communication.
The operation of the system consists in a telephone connection without the necessity of using intercoms or radiotelephones.
The set for one driver and one mechanic / coordinator consists of:
- muffled ear muffs with PTT function for a mechanic with built-in Bluetooth module
- Bluetooth module with driver switch
Stilo withdrew from the offer sets with attached GSM phones. The current Verbacom devices are compatible with all phones with a Bluetooth connection! Just pair the device with your phone.
How it's working?
Before the race, the mechanic establishes a telephone connection with the driver. The driver does not have to answer the call - the device does it for him. The call lasts until it is interrupted by one of the people. If the connection is interrupted due to reasons independent, the mechanic's telephone will automatically connect to the car. The connection lasts until the time of interruption, while transmission (conversation) can be established by the mechanic after pressing the PTT button on the ear muffs, in the case of the driver, for talking, speaking in the microphone, digital voice processing reduces noise and other sounds by passing only the voice of the conversation.
Of course, the driver has to equip himself with this Stilo helmet with a built-in WRC intercom. With the help of a suitable adapter, you can also connect the helmets equipped with Peltor or Peltor invisors with the Verbacom system.
