The first HANS flange in the world with adjustable shoulder angle. The adjustment is 7 levels and the driver can set the angle from 20 (rally specification) to 40 degrees (racing).
The HANS system has been compulsory since 2011 for all players participating in the RSMP and since 2012 for all players participating in the MPC.
The HANS system is compulsory in all racing and rally cycles organized by the FIA and in an increasing number of national and international series. At the time of the accident, the HANS collar absorbs over 80% of the forces acting on the neck during a frontal impact on a permanent obstacle.
